Welcome to the Website of the John Readhead Lodge No. 3217 

The John Readhead Lodge is a Freemasons Lodge situated in the town of South Shields, Tyne & Wear, within the Province of Durham, and under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England

We are named after John Readhead who was one of our founder members and was the son of John Readhead Senior who owned the renowned John Readhead and Sons Shipyard on the River Tyne in South Shields.

We meet at Freemasons Hall Ingham Street South Shields on the first Monday in, February, March, April (Installation), June, September, October, November, and December.

The Worshipful Master, Officers and Brethren of the Lodge bid a warm welcome to all visitors to our Website, we hope that you find this site interesting and informative.
